How we decide what to include
We catalog loan types the way a field guide catalogs species — by observable characteristics: typical cost, typical term, and typical risk. We're not paid to favor any one lender or loan type, and we don't rank offers by who sponsors us. When we can't verify a cost range with confidence, we say so rather than guess.
